I would like to "adjust" the size of the left side of the screen where
'labels' and things like that are and make the 'middle' part of the
screen a little smaller.

On a wide screen laptop, the left side of the gmail page is all
squished together and a lot of the labels are cut off. In the 'middle'
of the screen there is 'vast wasteland of real estate!'. I read a lot
this morning under gmail help and a variety of discussion groups. I
don't want to change the overall computer display resolution like
person suggested. I can't seem to find any other thinking on this.

If this isn't the right group for this discussion I apologize in
advance.

Hope to hear back.

Tom

You're more than welcome to discuss it here, but as a user's group we
can do little else but offer even more suggestions.

There's a lab for Right Side Labels which I find works great on my
widescreen monitor. I have information on both sides now and plenty
of space still in the middle.

Don't reply directly to a person unless they specifically request it.
It prohibits others from learning.

Not Google Labs, but the GMail labs. Select your Settings and there's
a "tab" for Labs which should be right after the Web-Clips tab.
There's a lab listed called "Right-side labels". Click enable next to
it, and "Save Settings" at the bottom to activate it.
