Bug?: Gmail - Group Contact features

I am facing this problem:

I created a contact group in my gmail (for example: groupname is
*mycontact) long time ago, say 1 year ago, and in this contact group,
I have many email contact inside, for example:

1) abc...@gmail.com
2) efg...@companyemail.com
3) hij...@yahoo.com

Due to certain reasons, my friends email, efg...@companyemail.com, no
longer valid due to his/her resignation from that particular company.
He/She asked me to change the email from efg...@companyemail.com to
efg...@hotmail.com

I changed, and delete his/her email: efg...@companyemail.com from my
gmail contact database, and add his/her new email: efg...@hotmail.com.

But, when I call up *mycontact ... the old email of him/her is always
retrieved!!

Same thing happen when I call efg123, the old email is retrieved
instead of new email, ie: efg...@companyemail.com is retrieved!!

Does anyone have the same problem?
Can gmail team solve this as soon as possible?

Thanks.

Hey, I also had a similar problem. However, mine was with a single contact, who has multiple addresses. Let's call him Dad Ofme

So, Dad Ofme has 3 accounts. His work one, his spam one, and of course, his normal one. The email address I tried changing was his Spam one, as he got a new address for that (please dont ask why).

Lets say he used to have the account "Dad....@spammy.com". Now, I had this account under "Dad Ofme" in the contact list. His new account, lets say, is " Dad...@gmail.com". So I go into his contact details, and change his old account to his new one. This looks fine under contacts (ie, it says Dad...@gmail.com for his spam address), but when I type an email, and start typing Dad, it shows:
*"DO...@microsoft.com" (his work account)
*" Dad...@home.com" (his normal/home one)
and, "Dad....@spammy.com"

After a while, this sorted itself out, so maybe you just have to wait? (maybe a gmail internal cache?)
