very slow typing on gmail

For last couple of weeks at least when I go to type a reply to an
email I have to re-do each letter - sometimes they still miss and I
have to re-type them. Then spaces come in.
Anyone have an answer to my problem? It is driving me mad.

Are you using Internet Explorer in Windows Vista?  If so, this is a known issue and GMail is working on fixing the problem.

Try getting an antivirus software and scan your computer for viruses.

 

Try changing your keyboard, may be there is a problem there. I had an almost similar problem with my mouse, I had to click so many times. I changed the mouse with a new one and everything was set right.
