I signed up for a second e-mail account using my cell phone.  I cannot remember my signin name.  Is there a way to find out what it is?

I know GMail is google, but is it a different branch? So really, Google wouldn't know, it would be the GMail branch that knows/has a list

True, but the information is all on Google's servers.

I would disagree. When you sign up for a GMail account, it becomes
your Google ID, signing you into all other Google services (Calendar,
iGoogle, Notebook, Docs & Spreadsheets, Picasa).

That isn't compleetly treu
I just signed up for my mom and if see wanted to use calendar she
needed to give to accept there rules to.
So you just signed up for everything. You just singed up for one thing
whit the appeteunity to use more.

Right, you have to agree to each product you want to use, but it's
still the same username/password on each, and they're automatically
linked to each other when you use each.

Vicky,

I have read all the answers to your question and all the answers to
responses within this thread that have nothing to do with answering
your question directly - it is so easy to get side tracked on a forum.
None have asked you my favourite question; the one that humanity has
asked from the dawn of time and has allowed us to develop as a
species.

Why?

Why do you want to find a list of GMail members with their names and
email addresses?

For example, our cousins by marriage over on YouTube are hoping to
arrange a get - together in New York for all YouTubers to party like
it is 07/07/07

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxa3eL3ClDs

Yes; I know this particular deadline has passed, the party remains
*on* but, admit it, you wanted to find out how to get a free flight to
New York and faintstarlite is very easy on the eye and dazzles with
her wit and humanity. I am Gogol and I approved this message!

Well, Vicky, where were you thinking of holding a party for GMail
users and when?

Do tell.

How about a free flight to the party destination given to whichever
GMail forum member helps resolve the most problems posted by users,
just like you?

Everybody likes a party and everybody here should be wondering why you
want to know who we all are.

thnks....

Um, if you have read _all_ of the responces, you must not have red correctly, the first three all say the same thing and answer the question directly.
  1. From "Zack (Doc)" - "No"
  2. From Juha Siltala - "I sure hope not :)"
  3. From sandro.cn - "ABSOLUTELY NO."

Namaste Vicky,

You broke my heart. Your first post has remained your only post. I was
hoping that by now you would have returned and told all of us here why
you wanted to know our GMail addresses.

Although Zack (Doc) Juha Siltala and dear sandro.cn (Thank you for
your appreciation elsewhere within this group) all told you No, as did
I ( in my particular style ) you have not returned to share your
motivation in asking your question; so that we can all address the
exact issues that your question raise.

The YouTube Community has asked everybody to use all means at hand to
get the message out. So, for you Vicky and all careful readers and
accurate typists who like to party:-

On 07/07/07 be at Washington Square Park - under the very distinctive
Arch - you cannot miss it - in New York NY USA.

It starts at 11am and ends at 8pm (officially) in the city that never
sleeps.

I hope Vicky that you will find time in your busy schedule to visit

http://www.youtubemeetup.com/

as you have not been able to return here to follow up on all of our
generous and free-spirited feedback to you.

Here is a GMail address you can have - strictly on the understanding
that this is a one-off, never to be repeated [?] event. YouTubers have
put this email address out into the open for anyone who wants to get
extra information on this exciting gathering for their Community. It
is -

new york city gathering

ampersand

gmail

dot

com

Please note Vicky, I am extremely careful with other people's email
addresses - even disposable ones.

After all, nobody wants their GMail boxes full of unwanted and
unwelcome mail. Do they Vicky?

My heart really is broken. I was hoping my post would have provoked
this GMail community (lower case is deliberate) to organise a get
together all of its own or at the least consider the idea. There are
more of us - all around the world than there are in the YouTube
Community but it seems we are just stay at home, party-poopers with no
friends.

Not true; to all in the Latin American GMail Community - buena onda.

thnks....

Um.... get used to heartbreak here, or move on.

With nearly 14000 users in this group, it's very common for people to
post *1* message and seemingly never return. Some actually don't.
It's annoying. It's frustrating. But I don't think it should be
heart-breaking.

haha, that's true.

Dear Gogol, don't be heart-broken, but move on. Maybe you can use the
"Reply to author" link to send a Gmail to Vicky, the answer comes
finally. :P
