Today it says "This account has been disabled" when I try to login.
The only additional help given is that I should contact the domain
administrator for help. I checked the online help but there doesn't
seem to be anything about login problems.
I checked with the person who helped set up the Google Apps accounts.
He sees that the account was suspended for abuse, but he doesn't have
the power to re-enable it. It seems I need to contact Google ... but
how??? Even he doesn't see how to do that.
So ... the big question that everyone asks ... how do I contact Google
about Google Apps accounts? Their online help shows no apparent
answer.
Thanks,
Andy

It's possible that I was (one of) the domain admin(s). There were
only a small number of us in that group, and it's possible the person
who set it up, made us all admins when he had to move on to a
different position. That could explain why he said he can't do
anything to fix it.
It was also suggested to me that my account might have been one of
those 500,000 (or 150,000) whose accounts were accidentally "reset"
yesterday. Google is said to have temporarily disabled logins to them
until they can get them repaired. Perhaps this was the way they did
it.
So I'll wait a few days and see if it magically fixes itself.

I could not login to the Mail or Calendar portions of the account all
day ... but I did successfully login to the Documents application a
short while ago. And it made me change my password. But all my
documents are still there.
When I then clicked on the Mail tab, it says:
"We are currently working on your account because an error occurred
with your mail storage."
It implies they expect it to be fixed within 48 hours.
So ... it would appear my account was one of those randomly reset.
(And now we now know there are currently about 200 million Gmail
accounts out there, or about one for every 35 humans on earth.)
