Ho this is a query that, can i merge my accounts?
I mean in yahoo i can use different profiles in a single account, in
the case of gmail is it possible? if yes how?

this is how :
Settings -> Accounts -> Add another email address
Settings -> Accounts -> Add another email address

also, you can have one forward to another so they all show up in the
same mail account...

yahoo we have the facility to access other pop3 mails
in rediff also.
other thing is we have the facility to create many profiles. NOT
ACCPUNTS !

Gmail doesnt have AddressGuard(tm).
