Sometimes not that quick... yesterday I saw 3 links so I sent one to
my friend over IM. He tried to register but he got 'cannot find
server' error after submitting the form so I went in and created the
account for him. It all took over 5 minutes and the link was still
valid (:
I sit here all day and read almost everything as it arrives I have
good chances of using the posted links so I just asked my friends who
want gmail for their desired usernames and wait for the next
opportunity (:

I had a server error with my invite. I clicked on the invite link and
it said it was used by lee....@gmail.com - so even if there are
server errors it will still create the account for you.

I had that too... I created the account but got server error after
submitting and than gmail was down so I had to wait long hours to
start enjoying my new kick-ass account (:
But my friend didn't get an error from gmail cause he didn't even get
there to actually submit the form /unfortunately polish ISPs sometimes
suck big time/
