I know that you can filter messages from multiple addresses and I'm hoping to get more efficiency with this version:
I have a Google Contact Group. Is it possible to create a filter for emails from that group? This will save me having to edit the Group's contacts AND the Filter when the Group membership changes. Thanks in advance! -Olga

I have seen this question asked before.  As far as I know, you can't refer to a contact group in a filter.  You have to list the email addresses.

I'd like to be proven wrong.  Maybe they have added, or will add, that as a new feature.

An easy way would be to force the group to add a phrase in the Subject, and filter based on that. e.g. "[gmail-power-users]"? 🤓

Oh never mind. Just reread that the request was for a Google Contact Group.

I believe you can list the group in the creation of the filter, but when you save it, it expands it to it's current members, and remains that way, even if you change the group later.
