Compose EMail URL -- How to get new line in body

I am using the compose email URL "https://mail.google.com/mail/?
fs=1&view=cm&shva=1"
No problems other that I cannot figure out how to embed a new line in
the "&body=" section. I have tried all of the obvious (and not so
obvious) ways like "\n" and "%0A".

Did you try "%0D"?
