I've found out how to filter for multiple incoming addresses: (example~1...@gmail.com OR example~2...@gmail.com OR example~3...@gmail.com).

I'm now trying to figure out how to filter for multiple outgoing addresses. I often write to Arthur, Bob, Charlie, Dave, Edna, or Fran. I don't always write to all of them--sometimes just to one, sometimes to two, sometimes all six--you get the idea.  I want to catch ANY instances of writing to any combination of those names.

thanks for any help

Mark

The same works for outgoing as well.  It will warn you that it won't catch "to" addresses, but it will; it just won't forward them; but it can label them just fine.

Thanks for the answer, Zack. I should've specified--I'm trying to construct this filter for the express purpose of forwarding these emails. Is that not possible in the use-case I'm talking about?

Correct.  You cannot use a filter on outgoing messages for the purpose of forwarding.

OK. Thanks, Zack. I'll quit trying.
