Gmail: Sort/Find emails by attachment size

I see there are several past requests for this feature but it hasn't
been implemented yet. *Why?*

Sorting by size at least lets us see which emails that have big
attachments and delete just those. The ability to remove attachments
would be a valuable next step, but I'd settle for ANY way to sort by
size in the meantime!

I agree, this would be a nice feature. I have found one way around not
having this by using a normal desktop email application (e.g. Mozilla
Thunderbird) to open up my Google account and sort by size that way. A
bit of an annoyance but it works until there is a Lab feature to do
this.

I was coming to Suggestions for this very reason. Seems pretty basic - needs to happen.
