Search partial words or wildcards - GV from contacts

Gmail Lab Team, please please please make possible to search partial
words in
In-boxes, just like its possible in yahoo mail, for example. With
current system, if i don't remember EXACT spelling of the word, I will
not be able to find it. here is link of the discussion , please join

The search feature is a big blunder for sure.seems so simple yet they
haven't got around to fix this.Maybe its just too simple that they
forgot:(.
I mean this is "Google" we are talking about.The search engine giant??
