For those times when it's Saturday and you want to send out an email to be seen first thing Monday morning, it'd be great if we could store a completed email in limbo until the time and date we'd like it to be sent.

I'd like that too.  Another use would be birthdays- you could write the email the night before when you are thinking about it, and not have to remember to send it.

I'd like that too.  If you could turn on a "delay send" feature where it would hold all emails for 30 seconds (or 2 minutes, or whatever) then when you forgot to attach that file, or realized you shouldn't have sent it you could fix the problem before it went out.

I would definitely use this feature.

Excellent idea - would definitely use regularly.

Check out "Undo Send" in Labs.  It provides up to 30 seconds of the "delay send" feature you are requesting - but its not the same as being able to delay sending an email for a day or 2.

It is a REAL need....
It could be implemented with a time zone delay/planning system in order to be always in the right light with your addressee.

By now, I still don't understand why this lab feature is not implemented. Would use it many times each month for professional and personal purposes

Here, here. I don't understand why they haven't implemented this feature as a Lab, yet. I'd like to delay responses even just 10 minutes, to avoid the "he must check his email constantly" stigma.
