Enabling this seems to break the chat gadget

Brief defect report: I'm running Firefox 3.0.7 on OS X and accessing
domain-hosted gmail. When I enable this labs gadget the google chat
gadget refuses to show my contact list - I only get my own details and
the search box. Disabling this gadet brings the contact list back
again.

im on chrome beta and maybe its a coincidence as to the timing, but it
seemed to break as soon as i enabled the websearch...

so i dunno.

when will they fix it. the author has a pinned convo here about how he
cant fix it...

i cannot accept that answer.

please guys! you are google ferchrissake! please fix the drag & drop..

its not computer science! ;)
