My notifier will not work

I had a crash on my laptop, I got it up again, but when I tried touse
my notifier I am told it will not due to a password or user name being
incorrect. I can get on line and go to my gmail but my notifier does
not work. Can anyone help?

Try adding a new account to the notifier.
