Yesterday I installed the gmail notifier. I have selected no sounds
on my audible notifications, but I still get a "beep" when I get a
message. My speakers aren't on and the sound comes from the cpu.
How can I get the notifier to be just a pop up and no sound.

You have to go into your windows sound settings and tell it to not
play a sound for email notification.
