How to manage which mailbox Notifier is checking

I have 3 accounts that I manage and I stay perpetually logged in to
each by logging in to them from a specific browser. Ex. Acct 1=Chrome,
Acct 2 = Firefox, Acct 3=IE

Chrome is my default browser for XP and Notifier. When I originally
installed Notifier, I gave it the login credentials for the gmail Acct
1 which I access via Chrome.
However, all of a sudden it is notifying me about new mail in Acct 3
via IE.
And when I doubleclick on the mail notifier icon, it opens Acct 1 in
Chrome even though it just told me about mail in Acct 3.

I really don't care to get updates about that account but I haven't
been able to figure out 1) how it got switched or 2) how to switch it
back to only checking Acct 1. (And I would like to be able to stay
perpetually logged in using the other browsers.)

Am running Windows XP, IE 7 and Chrome 1.0.154.43 ...
