Trillian G-Talk?

I can't find anything to make G-Talk work in Trillian. All I find are
sites exclaiming how useless G-Talk is, not how to utilise it properly.
Does everyone have this problem, or is there an addon I can get. Anyone
know?

I don't know what you were searching for, but [trillian google talk] gave me a wonderful tutorial as the first result.

failing that, i think the next thing I would have done would be try the official site, which incidentally is where that's from.

Yeah, ok - i forgot to mention tht i realise pro does it. What i'm
looking for is someway of forgoing the payment. Not really pepared to
pay to speak to friends......

Perhaps a better question would be - Does anyone know of a good
multi-platform communications program, jabber, yahoo, msn and irc
enabled?
