Does anyone know if there's a way to use emoticons when sending an
email? Or can we import any other program?

Yes there are no Auto insert ones in Gmail. You need to just type in any you think appropriate.

Personally, I prefer the use of English. I did not want Gmail to give
in to the demand for Rich Formatting but throughout these forums people
are asking for bloody smileys to be included in Gmail and when I signed
up for this group I promised to help others; so, there is the address,
above. Look at the screenshots there and see if it meets your need.

If not, be patient, dear vonnie. I am sure Sergey + Larry will include
a vast range of highly amusing yellow circles for you to illuminate
your prose within your Gmail account and all those who desire this
facility.

Hi. I am Samad and this is my first topic I send.
There is an EXTENSION which can add some features
such as emoticones to ur gmail. but u know it just works on ur own
comp.
