Guidance to use it with DirectFB

Currently we have a stack comprising of DirectFB, cairo-pango (based on GTK ), webkit used for text rendering ( may be even for video ) . 

I looked at the presentation and I think we can improve our text rendering if we use glyphy but I dont know how to proceed to bypass or replace cairo-pango.

Hi Vijay,

GLyphy is by no means a complete replacement for pangocairo. I think you
first want to switch to any OpenGL-based text rendering system on top of
pangocairo (Clutter for example?), and then look into porting that to GLyphy.

It's not a trivial task, specially if you want to hook it up to webkit.
