Dear colleagues,
I would like to let you all know that I’ve got a position open for a postdoc to join my group and the Copenhagen Center for Glycomics, doing data science/bioinformatics.
The position is funded by my recent GolgiNet grant, in which we’re going to dig down into what kind of patterns we can understand regarding the regulation of the glycosylation machinery. The scope of what we’re looking at is quite large, and there’s lots of opportunities to expand expertise in areas ranging from RNA-seq (also at the single cell/spatial level), glycoproteomics, language models, predictors and structural prediction. Basically we’re after someone who can do either the informatics side of things, or can do the glycobiology side of things (or both!) and we’ll support the development of the person into the role, including helping the person get their own personal funding to help them on their career track.
