Dear members of the Glycoinformatics Consortium,

We are updating the design and content of the GLIC web site (glic.glycoinfo.org), and we would like to request your feedback. You can update GLIC repository directly or send your updates by e-mail to: Rene <re...@ccrc.uga.edu>, Kiyoko <kki...@soka.ac.jp>, or to Phyl <ph...@toukach.ru>.

Could you please provide new/updated data:
  1. (if you were the author of a particular page of the existing web site) Please provide short description of each page you contributed (what is it, what is it for, who organized it etc.), 2-5 lines.
  2. (if you contributed a database or tool to be described at GLIC website) Please check the current description of your resource, and revise if needed. For database resources please add information about curation and coverage (1-3 lines). For any resource, please send us a logotype (100-500 px wide). These logotypes will be used as a table of contents entries.

If you have another resource to add, please feel free to do that.

In addition would like to request:
  1. (all members) Please send your name, affiliation, and short (<12 words) description of your scientific interests (to be displayed in the member list). You can optionally add your contacts or URL, if you allow us to publish it online.
  2. (if you contributed a notation for the Documentation page) Please provide a short description (1-2 sentences) and a web link for a notation of other document you contributed. If you have more standards to list sections (notations, protocols, data exchange rules, ontologies, software manuals), feel free to do that.
  3. (all members) Please provide 1-5 interesting / visually attractive images for a gallery. It can be illustrations from your work, presentation slides, glyco-related art, book/journal covers (if you have copyright), etc.
Some examples:
 (Variations of SNFG)
(Glycome-based tree of life; to be translated)
(Semantic web in glyco science; to be image-processed)

We expect your updates by 2024 March, 15th. On no response, your resource will be archived and not visible to users.

Best regards
Rene, Kiyoko, Phyl.
