Description
Glycogen Control Australia is a polysaccharide composed of glucose molecules joined together in a highly branching pattern. It is mostly stored in the liver and skeletal muscles of both humans and animals in an incredibly concentrated state. When blood glucose levels are high, as they are after a meal, excess glucose is absorbed by the muscles and liver and converted into glycogen for storage. When blood glucose levels drop, as they do during fasting or physical activity, glycogen is transformed into glucose and delivered into the bloodstream to maintain energy levels.
