Thehoney extraction is the actual operation that takes place after the uncapping. To carry out this operation it is necessary to use an extractor which, thanks to the centrifugal force, causes the honey to escape. We offer a wide range of honey extractors: radial, tangential or reversible, manual or motorized, to adapt to any type of need of the beekeeper. With regard to the number of frames, we have availability of articles for honey extraction up to 66 Dadant frames.

LEGA Italy brand honey extractor with tangential basket with electric motor of 630 mm diameter made of stainless steel with capacity for 6 frames Langstroth or 6 super frames. Legs specially bent outwards to lower the center of gravity and make the extractor more stable during extraction.

It has the new ZERO emptying system which is specially strained so that it does not leave a drop of honey inside due to the arrangement of the outlet (gate). With the new Italian engine TOP that replaces the old model Eloba, being this much quieter, more powerful and with a smoother cycle change.

This honey extractor is one of the medium sized honey extractors in the Lega range, but it has the same quality as our entire line as it is made with the same components used for the larger honey extractors. The extractor takes 3 frames at a time for manual extraction of the honey through centrifugal force. The extractor is of Italian manufacture. The frames need to be removed, turned around and replaced to extract the other side. It comes with legs to raise it to a convenient height and the legs may be attached to the floor. The extractor allow you to quickly remove the honey from the frames and placed back in the hive with minimal damage to the comb so that your bees may fill them again. There is a draining gate at the bottom of the extractor. Made by Lega Italy.

It can also be adapted to fit other extractors, but may require some creativity and tinkering skills to install (not included). Use this motor kit for extractors that do not have a shaft extending from the bottom of the extractor. This motor kit goes on top of the extractor and takes the place of the hand crank gearbox.
