Korean BBQ Kalbi
This is Korean BBQ aka Kalbi. A sweet and salty rib that always seems
to please the crowd. A friend of mine taught me this recipe, using
orange juice, but I think pineapple juice works much better. The
marinade process takes overnight but it's well worth it. I have done
this same marinade on steaks and the result is spectacular!
Ingredients:
2 Lbs Short Ribs (beef chuck, flanken, 1/3 inch cut across bones)
3/4 Cup Gluten Free Soy Sauce
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
3/4 Pineapple Juice
3 Garlic Cloves
1 Tablespoons Sesame Oil
2 Green Onions
Cooking Directions:
1. In a large bowl combine soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar,
oil, garlic, and onions. Mix well.
2. Marinade ribs overnight in the soy mixture.
3. Grill ribs 5 minutes.
4. Serve with steamed rice.
