We know some members do not always like to post feedback or participate in general discussions on discord, therefore I've decided to create this thread so we can hear some of your thoughts, feedback or suggestions regarding arena.

As a reminder, this is not somewhere to discuss cheaters, RMT, or anything like that, preferably somewhere we can discuss things in a healthy way. If you do not agree with somebodies suggestion, please politely explain why you disagree instead of just shutting them down.

Additionally, we cannot help you gain access to arena. We will not be taking suggestions in regards to invite waves, we cannot help you gain access to arena any quicker, you must wait until you are invited via email.

A few quick points/suggestions:
-You should copy the leveling/matchmaking system that WarThunder uses(this includes being able to use low tier kits to progress high tier ones, even if it is less experience gained per match)
-make the base level kits slightly better(MORE customization as well please)

I know we all are thinking about Counter-Strike and i dont want to make it a copycat but i have one sencence for you: "Dont change a running system". Yes, Arena gameplay is cool. But re-inventing the wheel is just unnecessary and brings all the problems with it that comes on that path and are already solved in more successful games off that genre. I doubt that its a bad idea to copy game modes or tournament friendly features like round economy from the competitor games. Get the best and add it to the best. You cant and shouldnt re-invent everything.

Imagine a CS mode in arena... wow - get starting roubles, buy gear, utility and weapons each roundstart from a preset menu, get roubles from kills and round objective, keep stuff you loot trough rounds.. this would be a real nice game, we all know it

Escape from Tarkov was my very first FPS game and ive played about 3500 hours. when I played arena I was lost but after a bit I sort of found my footing. My largest concern when I watch my playback vids is the extreme difference I see between what I saw right before I die, and whe the enemy saw. It can be a VERY different 5 seconds. I find this to be the most disheartening. How can I be better under these circumstances? I'm not sure if this is de-sync but it's in need of fixing. I also think that players who are not very good should be able to rank down by choice. It's very hard to slowly lose over and over again when your completely outskilled until you finally get pushed to the next rank. I'm not there yet but I'm trending in that direction and it sucks to watch all my friends who are better go up, knowing it's just a matter of time until I'm pushed down a rank.

I personally would like to see less of a difference between ammo types and quality. Giving newer/lower level players better ammo for their starter guns would make that grind a bit more enjoyable and give some what of a fighting chance vs. tier 4 armor/helmets and kitted ARs. I understand it's not in the vein of what EFT is, but I do feel it would be appropriate for Arena.

Flesh bullets that don't penetrate basic armor kill slower (even if it's the best flesh ammo) in contrast to bullets with mediocre penetration because you can consistently shoot the upper body with a better hit rate than you can someone's legs. The recoil in the game accommodates upper body spraying because 7/10 times the pattern of the recoil will hit the head whether the player is aiming at it while they're shooting or not (as long as they're rapid firing, which they are in the arena).

Not being able to respect the tree you picked adds to this problem because when you realize how badly you screwed up, it's too late. You quickly begin to understand this when you're fighting people with face shields and helmets every game that are the same rank as you but are stomping on you since they have headgear that can repel airsoft pellets (and you don't) while also having a bullet that resembles an airsoft pellet slightly less than yours does (making all the difference).

BSG, I truly believe Tarkov Arena was a step in the right direction, and I appreciate you listening to the players as much as possible. I wouldn't have taken the time to type this message with 3rd grade punctuation if I didn't care about the game and the direction it was going.

- It's pretty easy to get to a 100k kit, but most of us that lose more rounds than win.... we can't afford this for long and then we have to play crappy kits or kits that don't matter toward our grind.... this is a horrrrrrrrrrrrible horrible setup. Something needs to be done with win/loss money or at least make it to where every kit in a string gives XP toward the rest of the tree.

1. Give us sound sliders. I can't hear enemies or teammates for that matter, over the sound of the commentator screaming. I have music turned off, yet joining and leaving a lobby i have ear bleedingly loud music, why?

2. There should be a lobby limit on levels. For example, if someone only has access to tier 1 guns, the enemy team should only be limited to tier 3 etc. Too many times i have to try and kill someone wearing an ZSh-1-2M and a level 4/5 armour with my PP-19 and PST.

3. Servers/hit reg. Same as on tarkov, terrible. Need to upgrade the servers, especially for this "e-sports ready" game. The amount of times i die when quick peaking a corner, due to desync is incredible.

I don't know if this applies to more classes but for the Mosin it would be great to have a button to quickly remove or attach the sight without having to go to the inventory first. Either you just have to "use" the scope or you have to "open" the weapons first and then remove it there. That's a bit fiddly.

At the beginning I was looking for something where I could see which team I was in, in case I was a bit stupid or unsure again. But I can see my armband in the inventory, so that's ok. The game should perhaps communicate a bit more with the player.

The unlock system becomes a very big problem in the long run. Everyone is D+. But when people are running around with helmets and armour that are not easy to overcome with the Mosin, it becomes problematic. Had hoped that you could access an item pool like in tarkov. You have more or less access to items depending on your tier. But also that the opponents have the same tier as you. So that the matches feel exciting and not just demotivating and frustrating.

You have to give me the opportunity to mute team members. One of them has been shouting into his microphone for almost 20 minutes. There's nothing you can do about it. You have to put up with it. That doesn't help.

Just like the intentional damage of team members. It often happens that an argument between team mates escalates. Then they take it in turns to shoot each other for the next few rounds until the end of the match. That doesn't help either.

Unlocking a tree for each class would be much better, more motivating and also more effective. In the first place there should be a free version in every tree (if you don't come up with the idea to rework everything in a good and sensible way). And you should also get XP when you play this class. If I ran out of rub in the current version, I would probably not start the game again. Why should I? You neither make xp for a class nor can you fight meaningfully. For the Sniper class, a sawn-off Mosin and very minimal equipment as an example.

When all hell breaks loose underneath you, it's hard to keep track of where the team members are and what they're doing. I would like a little help. So that I can get more involved in the team game. If I see one I would like to report it. Let my character shout it out loud, that's ok. But I would like to be able to mark a container to say, hey, there's one in there. So now I have to watch him or storm him. It's not so easy to say exactly what you want via voip. English is not my first language.

There aren't enough servers. You have to wait forever and then "probably" get hammered into the ground. It's more fun at night. 2-4 minutes at night is far better than 10+ in the evening. Also absolutely unacceptable. That's not how I want to spend my time... I don't either.

I'm sure I've forgotten a few things. But I think that's the most important thing for now. I would like updates from you more quickly. Like daily. There's certainly enough to do. But the game itself works and is fun. So a big compliment at this point. Now just work on the accessibility. And do something with the unlock system Surely there's a better solution.

Whoever designed the kits themselves and figured the current progression system for unlocking new loadouts should be fired. It's hard to imagine a system that would be less engaging and more punishing than the one currently live on the servers.

I have to grind for 50 games to unlock a decent tier 3 loadout, fine, whatever, but to then completely handicap players when they want to switch it up or try something else is ridiculous. Restricting the ability to be unlocking multiple things makes the game SO STALE. You literally are forcing players to play ONE kit for 50-100 matches in order to progress deeper into tiers. You can't even use lower tiered kits in the same tree, you HAVE to use your current unlock to get any XP. It is so boring to use the same ducking gun for 50 matches.

Legitimately AWFUL. Just copy another games system. The idea of Arena and how it ties into Tarkovs lore is awesome, the maps are awesome, the gunplay is fun and intense, but shooting someone 15 times and dying to 1 headshot sucks ass and you can't even switch your kit to get a break or change of pace. SO FRUSTRATING.

-The matchmaking is absolutely horrible in terms of matching you with players that have similar gear score to you. I have had countless times where I am in a lobby full of players with gear far better than anyone else in the lobby and they just dominate. On multiple occasions I hit someone 9+ times with M856A1and they turn around and 1 shot me with endgame ammo. You should definitely have to pick your preset before you matchmake and then only have players with similar gear score in that lobby.
