Incorrect Vertex when running e- particle gun simulation

Hello,

I have been trying to create a particle gun simulation for e-, running it with gluex_MC.py to produce smeared hddm files.  Pathway to all that stuff here /w/halld-scshelf2101/home/mkhanji/Masters/JPsi/NNTraining/DSelector/electronGun.   That also has my Environment file.

I then have made a plugin to look at some values (pathway /w/halld-scshelf2101/home/mkhanji/Masters/JPsi/NNTraining/DSelector/electronGun/plugin/eminus_particle_gun), and that's where I notice something has gone wrong.  The vertex should be at 1 cm, which is what I see for thrown values 

But when using extrapolation I get the majority at about 14 cm.

 

I'm not sure how to go about troubleshooting this and would appreciate any help.  I can provide more information as needed.

Forgot to mention I'm using run 101582 also.

Realized the images didn't likely load. The first image attached is the thrown vertex, the second is the extrapolated.

Hi Iesa,

Simon is proposing a fix for your observation in the halld_recon branch CppVertexFix and pull request #1063 (https://github.com/JeffersonLab/halld_recon/tree/CppVertexFix).

Can you please check if it works for you?

Hi,  It looks like it does work. My vertex plot looks very reasonable now.
