Unable to use emacs on ifarm2402

Hello,

When I attempt to use emacs on ifarm2402 (for example: emacs -nw ~/.cshrc) the terminal shows this screen (image attached) Screenshot 2024-10-03 at 1.04.59 PM.png

then idles and eventually crashes.

When emacs finally crashes and exits this is what is displayed:

I can still use emacs on ifarm2401, but I am worried that there is some issue that might make emacs unusable on both if I continue.
