Dear All,

It's not very GlueX software specific, but I am trying to run an old standalone code to calculate cross sections I haven't touch since recent JLab farm changes, and can't locate where cernlib was reinstalled. In my Makefile I used to link it to: /apps/cernlib/x86_64_rhel7/2005/lib/libpacklib.a

Does anyone know where this file has been moved now?

thanks,
Marie

Hi Marie,

The /apps directory was removed with the switch to Alma Linux 9. You can
find most of the packages on CVMFS now, including cernlib:

/cvmfs/oasis.opensciencegrid.org/jlab/scicomp/sw/el9/cernlib/

GlueX has always maintained our old build of cernlib that you can find
on the group disk:

/group/halld/Software/builds/Linux_Alma9-x86_64-gcc11.4.1/cernlib/

I hope one of them works for you.

Cheers,

Alex

FYI if some other people are running into the same concern, the second link with the old build is working. Even by recompiling all the rest of my code with versions of gcc/gfortran we have now, I can't use the new build, not sure how it was compiled.
