GetGlue,

While working on a script to auto-check-in to what I'm listening to in
iTunes I ran into a question about check-in etiquette. Right now I'm
checking in every time a song plays, even if it is the same artist.
The check-in will contain the track name in the text. But when I go to
look at the artist page on GetGlue I see every check-in under "Recent
Comments and Reviews", if I were to listen to an entire album all the
way through in a single sitting I will flood the comments section with
my check-ins pushing everyone else out. It seems that when people
manually check-in they do post the track they listen to, but the labor
involved in the manual process must keep people from flooding the
reviews. My question then is, am I being impolite by posting every
track to the artist as I listen? Does GetGlue recommend a behavior in
this scenario?

Thanks!

Hi Dustin,

Thanks for asking.

Thinking that we should go with posting the first time you listen to an artist in a day, similar to what you did with Last.fm.

Posting each song is definitely not a good experience...
