Of course, remembering your creator by your heart and tongue has many benefits. In both cases, either in need or just thank Allah for the countless gifts he sent for you, you will get rewards. Allah promised us in His Holy Book that he will bless those who remember him all the time. Azkar is one of those good deeds that increase our Thawab and our chance to win Jannah. There are plenty of benefits of azkar such as:

Azkar lets us keep our beloved Allah in front of our eyes all the time because there is something to say every single second of the day. No definite time for azkar but there is a Zikr (the single of the word azkar) for everything and every time on the day. The most famous azkar are those of the morning and the evening.
