The Gloucester Historical Society announces its 2011 Annual Meeting at
the Gloucester South Seniors' Centre, 4550 Bank Street, just south of
Leitrim Road. It will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m.
Our speaker is Joy Forbes who will talk about one room school houses
and her book 'Perservence, Pranks and Pride'. All are welcomed to
attend. Refreshments will be served. Free parking on site.

The Gloucester Historical Society announces an improved history page
on the GHS website. We have now included a comprehensive index
allowing the user to find stories of interest more easily. Also
included, are navigation aids allowing the user to move around the
