Error on adding new term

I tried adding a new term
I got a screen with following error message

Not Acceptable
An appropriate representation of the requested resource /knogs/
gw_admin.php could not be found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to
use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8e-fips-rhel5
mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server
at knoggr.com Port 80

I googled and found that it is because mod_security filtering is
enabled. However it appears it is not safe to turn of the mod_security
filtering.
Has anybody faced a similar issue before? I will be thankful for a
response

This issue is now resolved after my hosting provider added my site in
his mod_security whitelist
