Recently I read an Article on the striking similarity between WINDOWS 7 and KDE OS, and to my surprise, at the end of it, I was almost convinced with the author, as there is no doubt, that many of the features of Windows 7, like flashy task-bar, password login, scenic control themes and certain buttons were copy of KDE 4.3.2.

Many people who have tried both the OS also find that Windows 7 is pretty much like KUBUNTU, with all the KDE effects.

Now, the point of discussion is, why someone pays 6000-11000 bucks on something for which, a better, much more powerful and a real one, i.e. KDE is available for no cost.

    What say?

The Article which I read is here: http://bit.ly/DF6N1.

PS: your comments on the above discussion is gladly welcome, let's share what we think!

Yes , the first time i saw windows 7 i confirmed this . For example the theme manager in windows 7 really struck me it is almost the same as that of ubuntu . Everything almost for that matter . the one thing that was totally unWindows about it is the speed both copying and boot time .

It is just an implication of participation age taking over information age.
