Dear Affiliated Society Representative

As you will see below, the AIA has come into possession of a private library of IA books. A Council member has listed them in the attached. Please feel free to circulate this amongst your members. If any would like to receive one or more for a small donation and post and packaging, please feel fee to contact me and I will forward the e mail on.

With kind regards

Richard

Dear all,

The son of a deceased AIA member, Graeme Walker of Derbyshire, sought help in disposing of his father’s collection of books relating to industrial archaeology and history of technology. Since I was going to be passing his house, I agreed to take them, in the hope I might find a good home for some. The collection includes some early copies of IA journals. My plan is to take a selection of those of more obvious interest to AIA members to Annual Conference and invite people to help themselves in return for a small donation to AIA funds. However, in the meantime, I thought I would circulate a list, in case anyone wants any of them. A small donation plus postage will secure.
