Dear all

 

Some sad news that our member Lionel passed away on 23rd May. You will doubtless recall that he gave us an interesting Zoom talk on Mawdleys of Dursley last year, having previously published a book on the company’s history. This was followed up by a shorter one published last year when Lionel reached the venerable age of 100. There will be a note about Lionel in the next newsletter, but I the meantime, his funeral will be at 11am on Monday 23rd at St James the Great Dursley, followed by burial at St George’s Cam where there will be a wake afterwards.
