Is there option to mask the field data ?

I need to mask the data entered in a field of an applicaiton.
Say dispaly the data as *******
Is there any option for this?
Is any in built routines in globus?

you can create a new version and ignore this field from being displayed. Unlike other applications, you don't have to mask like '**********'
