If you've found this site, it's probably for a very bad reason.
You've been ripped off by Globex Shipping or El Al Shipping. These
companies were run by the scammers Bella Grushko and Hanan Assayag.
Many of you have been overcharged, suffered delays, and worst of all,
have missing shipments.

Both companies are now out of business, apparently shutdown by the
FMC. Many of you have shipments in transit.

My entire fiasco with them can be found at my website:
http://www.GlobexShippingSucks.com/

This group is for all to share info about these criminals and possibly
information on how to recover your items. PLEASE share any
information you have.

Ours was picked up November 2006 and finally delivered around March
2007, late and with significant storage costs and other charges.
Globex remained around for most of this year. Then they became El Al
briefly.

I managed to get my things. Those of you that haven't received your
shipment are probably going have a lot of difficulty locating your
shipment. Depending on the shipment, it could be anywhere.

You need to locate it as quickly as possible. If it's sitting in
customs somewhere, it will incur storage costs. Globex / El Al have a
history of not paying the fees at the receiving end or the movers that
will get your items out of customs and to your delivery destination.

My problem with them from a delivery point of view is over. I HOPE
somebody has some information to help the current group of victims. I
think some are working through the FMV.GOV. I hear that's the one
that shutdown El Al.

My stuff was picked up on  Aug 1st, last week i discovered they went out of business. Now my brother in NY is trying to help me, takingto FMC. I also find a couple of private investigators that are charging from 500 to 1000 to help me. I don't know if they will be useful... but i am considering hiring them!

Hello everyone,

I have been researching some and this is what I think may be our best
idea. Please let me know what you think about it... I am told that if
we contact FMC and give them lots of details that they can build a
Federal case against Bella an her husband. It will take a long time
but they can possibly help us. Last I heard ~30 people have been
scammed by her. I am sure there is a much larger number of us. We
all have so many e-mails from her company it just seems impossible
that we can't be somewhat successful.

The scam is a big one! They take all of our money and then don't pay
anyone along the way. The only way we have been able to get our
container, we hear it is in customs now, is to re-pay all of the
companies who have worked with it. The big cost comes from when it
arrives to it's destination and goes into storage. Do you have a
vessel number, container number... The other problem is leaving the
port in the states. Sometimes the shipper hasn't sent the containers
because they haven't been paid and stick them in storage at the port
of departure. Has your stuff actually been shipped? If it hasn't it
may be worth getting your brother to grab it an starting all over.
The reason for this is because Bella has a reputation of not getting
shippers who are insured also. It's a big mess. I hope that helps a
bit.

Hey Meg,
I'm not sure if it'll work.
I'm talking to a Madam from FMC (Zoraia) and she is contacting Bella to follow up all problems, trying to solve them. She is like trying to show to FMC she is willing to help everybody, even going out of market on Aug 10th. In my case, she hold my stuff in the warehouse (Shipco) and I paid $2400 of $3800 total moving cost, and now she is telling me that I should pay Shipco again to get my stuff.

Zoraya De La Cruz - Federal Maritime Commission - Office of Consumer Affairs and Dispute Resolution Services

Her email is zdel...@fmc.gov

Maybe she could help everybody with any dispute/resolutions with them.

BTW, Bella still using in...@elalshipping.com email.

Renato

I think it is an excellent idea.

There are probably hundreds of victims out there.  There are more stories on http://www.movingscam.org and a few at the http://www.ripoffreport.com/
