Hi you super stars!!!

I just wanted to send out an email to thank you all sooo much for your incredible work today. I had a BLAST and I think this event is something that could go on for a very long time and all of our participants were really hyped about it :) :) :)!!!

Although we started out small we raised around $250 dollars!!  Out of our 4 teams that dueled it out in 4 rounds the Team Blue won (Juliette your friends are FIT! holy crap!)

Special shout outs to:
Juliette -- you're the absolute best recruiter of all time. Thank you for being awesome and having awesome friends!
Nick Miller-- I saw you trying to take out some girls with those balloons!.. same goes for you Jenny!
Leah/ Sagar-- thank you for being our shuttles and for bringing the energy!
Caroline-- holla at the food! and the hours of tying water balloons last night
Avanti, Brittany, Whisly, Tanwe, Becca,Harjot-- you guys built the most badass structures, tied sooo many balloons, and are the heart of why the event was able to function. I appreciate it so so soooo much <3 <3 <3
Meagan: thank you for your awesome poster and booking the event, you rock my socks!!

and EVERYONE!!! -- thank you so much for your time flyering, calling friends to come play, posting a status or any of the such, I literally could not do this without you

So happy and proud of you all I can't wait to see where this event will go in the future :)!

Can I give a special shout out to Kalin?? If you're wondering where those 200 water balloons came from, it was because Kalin's "tiny Asian hands" (I'm quoting) made it happen. And she was also the one who made sure that this event came together at the end as it did. So everyone, make sure you thank her! And I totally agree with her shout-outs, thank you to everyone who came out and played a part, as well as those on the campaign team that helped plan the event. Like Kalin said, this event was ridiculously fun, and everyone participating had an amazing time. I think that this really, really has the potential to be GlobeMed's biggest event of the year, and one that gets even more people and $$ in the future.

So let's pat ourselves on the back! Thanks to everyone for your positive energy, this couldn't have happened without it. Can't wait to see y'all on Thursday.

Sagarbutt! You beat me to the punch! I was just writing to thank our wonderful captain KWern (can this be a thing?...never mind, I already know the answer). She put in loads and loads of work into this event and it wouldn't have been anywhere near as successful without her creativity, dedication, and manual labor!! She rocks more than anyone can believe!

And ditto again, thanks for everyone who made it out to help at the event today!! Your enthusiasm and preparedness made this a great event. I had loads of fun and I hope y'all did to.

So stoked to see where it goes in the future.
