Sometimesthe demand of a long haul flight on a device can cause a memory issue or potentially the device could overheat and it will end up crashing. To avoid this you can try restarting the device frequently, and use the low power modes available on the device and in the app.
Yeah I have the iPhone 13 which is the latest one with the 13 pro and pro max and my IF crashed yesterday just after landing. Pretty weird for a brand new iPhone capable of max graphics and very high airplane count to be crashing just after landing. It also happened a few days ago
When was the last time the ones who are having issues restarted their devices?
All devices have a limited amount of system resources, RAM. The longer the device is running, the smaller it becomes over time unless you restart.
Just to give an update on the issue. I have seen different topics on the app crashes with speculations on what the cause may be. I have just read a topic about storage and airplane counts etc. with everyone trying to get the app crash issue resolved.
I did an overnighter from LTFM-SBGR on the A350 Turkish Livery. After being cleared to land with about 3nm my app crashed. I was so sure this time around that there will not be an issue. I even counted the number of aircrafts on the ground, 2 at parking bays 1 on the runway taking off. In the air about 4 on approach with 1 landing.
Since yesterday, Dropbox is stuck in a crash/restart loop, I'm on Mac OS Mojave. I tried: Installed the last stable version and still in the crash loop. Installed the last beta version and still in the crash loop. Deleted the Dropbox application and re-install - still the same results. I opened console - the last message Dropbox sends before the icon vanishes is: "Too many groups requested
(2147483647). Can cause performance issues when network directories are involved" Anyone has any good idea how to solve?
As a first step, since the desktop app's startup may be blocked by a third party app like a security program, could you please temporarily disable your antivirus and ensure that you've configured your firewall to work with Dropbox?

I am having the same issues as @gswave that only started to happen yesterday (Aug 27th). Dropbox is continually restarting no matter what I have tried. There is no error message. The app will disappear from the top menu bar and after a few seconds show up with a 'Starting' status. I have tried going through the settings to see if anything has changed, but even while going through settings the whole app will disappear and restart the cycle.
Could you also let me know if you've tried temporarily disabling your security program or antivirus which could be hindering the app from running? Additionally, have you ensured that your firewall is configured to run with the desktop app?
I started to experience this problem 2 days ago. first i thought it was because of not enough space, but after free alot hardrive, dropbox still crashing and restarting by itself. I removed symlinks but it's still happening.
I had a brand new iPad, and the latest update of Premiere Rush. THE APP KEEPS CRASHING. I don't know how to access crash reports on my iPad, and it doesn't even prompt me to send a crash report. It just closes the app after I use the cut/scissor tool thing and takes me back to my Home Screen. I've scoured this forum, and tried everything I could other than deleting the app and redownloading it because I'm afraid of losing my work and I've already had to start a project all over because of issues.
What if it keeps happening when I'm working on a project saved locally? I was having this odd previously on a project that was being saved to Creative Cloud but, even when I had good service and waited for it to sync/load fully, it constantly crashes or freezes. And when I open it it has numerous missing items and I practically have to start over.
This nonsense have been going on for far too long. Useless at this point while Im paying subscription. My bank acc has no issues nor bugs when they charge me, so, fix this asap. its 2024 and rhe same thing keeps happening accross all systems, Apple and Android.
It's footage from my S23. I installed the latest on my phone. This is something deep in their code.
All cellphones are having issues with this App. And it looks like this is a very old issue that has not been addressed.
OK, thanks for the info. Your issue may stem from system requirements. Certain Android phones are not supported, including the S23. How frustrating. I am sorry about that. I wouldn't say that all phones are having trouble with the app. Mine works OK, for example. Try updating the Android OS and see if it might function better. I hope so. Let us know.
I don't think that's the case. I am facing the same issue on my iPhone 13 Pro updated to the latest version. All the videos are recently recorded from the iPhone. The customer care has no idea about it. The project won't export. And after the latest update the issue has worsened.
Sorry about that. Can you try using "most compatible" mode on your phone? Certain kinds of HEVC might not be supported. Another user said this issue only happened after adding transitions and speed effects. Might that be the case with you, too? Let me know.
I just downloaded premier rush again to edit some stuff quick. I couldn't remember why I stopped using the app previously and why I thought editing was so annoying. Now I remember. The app crashes every single time. It's been 2 years since I last tried to use it so the problem remains the same. New phone, updated IOS, app downloaded yesterday. This app is terrible.
Try changing the camera settings to "most compatible." Certain flavors of HEVC shot on the latest versions of iPhone are not yet supported. Most compatible shoots in H.264 codec and that should solve your issue. Let us know if it works.
I am seeing that the printer on a regular basis will keep crashing even on the slow printing of my outer perimeter.
I am seeing this crash about every layer at the same location and sometimes twice per layer.
I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
Hello Sebastian. I had the same issue. My printer was in stealth mode so no crash detection. I started getting shifting layers and then one day the printer wouldn't even home. The x-axis was difficult to move by hand. I was ready to take it all apart to fix it. Turned out the linear bearings went dry. Search amazon for "Super Lube 51004 Synthetic Oil with PTFE, High Viscosity, 4 oz Bottle,Translucent white". Put a drop on each rail, move the x and y axis by hand a couple times, wipe with towel. Do this a few times until the motion feels smooth. For the Z axis rails, put a drop on the rails just above the bearings and use the controls to move the z axis up and down.
Thanks Randy. I read through this article and performed ALL of the recommended maintenance including: cleaning/greasing my rods, belt tensioning, and checking/tightening the grub screws on my motors. I haven't printed anything yet ... so not sure if my issues are fixed.
I just wanted to add for those that come here for help with sudden crashes. I also was suddenly having a crash after moving my Prusa. Did the routine posted above and found the culprit. In my case some fine filament threads got around the back z pulley and was causing the crash. When all else fails, do maintenance, won't hurt.
I was having some similar issues on a newly assembled Kit printer (mostly X-axis crashes). I went through this thread and tried a bunch of things including lubing bearings and tightening the allen bolts fastening the pulleys to the stepper motors, but none of it worked.
However, I went through and checked the allen bolts on all parts related to the axes, pulleys, and steppers, and discovered that some of them had become a bit loose. Going through and retightening all of them fixed the issue and greatly reduced the number of crashes I was experiencing.
I didnt even need to disassemble the printer at all to do this*. Just observed a print and whenever it crashed too many times to continue, I would look for more allen bolts to tighten, and then resume the print. Did this a few times and then the problem was resolved.
UPDATE: this helped a bit but turned out not to be the main culprit. Biggest offender was that my belts were WAY too tight and the extra strain on the motors was causing most of the crashes. Tuning them using the belt tuner method described here seems to have actually resolved it.
