As-slaamu alaikum,
An Arabic word a day
                                        (أ)     
Word: أَصَم (As'am)
Type: Noun.                          
Meaning: Deaf.
Sentence:
﴿مَثَلُ الفَريقَين كَالأعْمى وَالأصَمّ وَالبَصِيرِ وَالسَّمِيعِ هَلْ يَسْتَوِيانِ مَثَلاً﴾هُود24  
(Mathalu al-fareeqayne kal-a'amaa wa al-as'am wa al-bas'eer was-sameea' hal yastweyaane mathlan)
Meaning: {The similitude of the two parties is as the blind and the deaf and the seer and the hearer. Are they equal in similitude?} Hud 24.
