Does anyone know who is running the International Journal of Mormon Studies? https://www.ijmsonline.org/

The link has been dead now for some time. It seems that maybe this group might have some interested parties?

I want to keep it on my research guides for Latter-day Saint studies but can't justify having it if it will never return...

Thanks!

Kim Östman was one of the editors, though I am not sure he is on this email list? If he does not respond here, dm me and I will connect you.

Hi all,

The journal's now defunct—and the original website, too—but we have a full archive on the JMSSA site that can be linked to: https://jmssa.org/ijms/

Best,

Hi,

The journal has indeed been defunct for a number of years.

As far as I'm aware there are no plans for resurrection, but the editor-in-chief Dr. David Morris may have some further thoughts on that; I'm copying Dave on this mail.

Best regards,

Gerrit, are your research guides available somewhere?

By chance do you mean the guides on the BYU library website?

Dear Kent, et al,

Great question! You can find all my research guides through the BYU library here: https://guides.lib.byu.edu/prf.php?account_id=1366

The main one is first: Latter-day Saint Movement Studies which is more or less comprehensive. I am also the general philosophy librarian so I have that page as well. The remaining other guides are tailored to particular Church history courses.

Let me know if you have any questions,

Gerrit
