Dear all,

We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming Global Mormon Studies Publishing Workshop, to be held online on Tuesday, 7th October 2025 at 9:30am MDT / 4:30pm GMT.

This free, one-hour event is designed to support students and scholars—both emerging and established—who are interested in publishing in the field of Global Mormon Studies. You’ll hear directly from editors representing three venues for scholarly work in Mormon Studies:

  • Caroline Kline, Co-editor of Dialogue: A Journal of Mormon Thought
  • Christopher Jones, Editor of the Journal of Mormon History
  • Hazel O'Brien, Co-editor of the Global Mormonism Book Series (University of Illinois Press)

Workshop Format:

  • Brief introductions from each editor
  • A panel discussion on publishing pathways, common pitfalls, and submission advice
  • Live audience Q&A
  • A follow-up handout with resources from each editor

Whether you’re preparing your first article or exploring new publishing avenues, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to hear from leading editors in the field and ask questions directly.
