Update on Latter-day Saints & Media Studies Symposium

Here's a short update about the Latter-day Saints and Media Studies Symposium, Feb. 26-28, 2026 in Laie, Hawaii.

The extended paper submission deadline is today, but if you need a couple of extra days to get your proposal submitted please let us know through a reply to this email. Otherwise, please submit paper proposals through this email. 

If your paper has been accepted please be aware of these deadlines -- you need to book the Laie Marriott Courtyard room by Jan. 31 to get the group rate. Here's the link to that rate:

You also need to register for the conference by Jan. 31 to get the $108 early registration rate. The registration fee goes up after the end of January. Here's the link to the symposium schedule and registration

Polynesian Cultural Center discount tickets will be available for conference participants through a discount code. These tickets must be purchased separately and are not part of the conference registration.
