Dear GHC friends and colleagues,

As many of you may be aware Global Health Connections is hosting our first annual Global Health Connections Conference on Saturday, September 25th from 9am to 4:30pm in the King Center and St. Cajetans on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver.

The primary goal of this conference is to bring everyone together to discuss, learn from each other, and identify opportunities for collaboration on global health and sustainable development projects. Besides networking opportunities, there will be four break-out session tracks: global health service projects led by Coloradans, local university activism, in-depth discussions on sustainability, and “Colorado in Haiti.” We are especially excited about this year’s special Haiti-track.  Numerous key Haitian health and development leaders (UN, World Bank, etc.) will be at the conference to discuss current ideas on how to move things forward in Haiti and they will be joined by Coloradans involved in these very needed pursuits. Proceeding the conference Renewal4Haiti will host an evening of music and fellowship to raise funds for the CAMEJO hospital in Léogâne, Haiti.

Please refer to the attached documents for updated speaker and conference information. Whether you attend a few break-out sessions during the day or stay through the evening we hope to see everyone there. To register for the conference please visit our website www.globalhealthconnections.org

Warm regards,
