Dear Global Health Friends and Colleagues:
We hope to see you tomorrow at the 2010 Global Health Connections on Saturday, September 25th from 9am to 4:30pm in the King Center and St. Cajetan's on the Auraria Campus in downtown Denver. Here the complete conference program.
The primary goal of this conference is to bring everyone together to discuss, learn from each other, and identify opportunities for collaboration on global health and sustainable development projects. Besides networking opportunities, there will be four break-out session tracks: global health and sustainability service projects led by Coloradans, local university activism, in-depth discussions on sustainability, and “Colorado in Haiti.” We are especially excited about this year’s special Haiti-track. Numerous key Haitian health and development leaders (UN, World Bank, etc.) will be at the conference to discuss current ideas on how to move things forward in Haiti and they will be joined by Coloradans involved in these very needed pursuits. Proceeding the conference Renewal4Haiti will host an evening of music and fellowship to raise funds for the CAMEJO hospital in Léogâne, Haiti.
To register for the conference please visit www.globalhealthconnections.org. Whether you attend a few break-out sessions during the day or stay through the evening we hope to see everyone there.
Regards,
