HI,

Dear all donors and supporters from all over the World, to mantene and manage all the project through GlobalGiving audiences at onlne fundraising program. We would like to inform you with great respect about the difficult and distressing situation currently facing refugees in refugee camps and host communities in Uvira and Fizi .

The lives of refugees have become increasingly difficult due to the severe shortage of basic assistance.

The level of financial assistance currently provided is far from sufficient to cover basic needs such as food, housing, health care, children’s education, as well as hygiene and human dignity. This situation has left many refugees in a state of despair, depression, and social vulnerability.

Many families are living without food security, others are in arrears with rent, and some are facing the threat of eviction. Women, children, the elderly, and people with disabilities are particularly vulnerable, which increases the likelihood of violence, mental illness, and the breakdown of social cohesion.

In light of this situation, we humbly request your institution to continue to support us and, where possible, to increase or adjust assistance strategies to meet the current realities of refugees’ lives. Emergency and sustainable assistance will help restore dignity, hope, and stability to the lives of affected families.

We greatly appreciate your cooperation and remain ready to work closely for the well-being of refugees and the communities that host them.

With great respect, also in light of the challenges of the sporadic fighting in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo DRC, the political situation in the areas is dominated by the M.23 AFC and RDF, this war has indeed brought hardships to women and girls, especially pregnant women, who are going through great challenges during the war.

This project aims to enable women and mothers or girls to live a better and happier life during childbirth, especially to be able to get food, children's clothing, especially to be able to get necessities when they are in the hospital, because every mother or woman has the right to be happy when she sees her child even if she is giving birth in pain.

We ask for your help to be able to complete the best services for women and girls when they are in, in conditions of going to the hospital and for those who have already given birth but the children are in poor health or the parents are at risk of health, during this difficult period, of war in the city of Uvira and around the city of Uvira.

Your support of 10$ and more will enable us CAPRIDIS to face the challenges that women are going through in general, to be able to improve the quality of services in the lives of 5000 women in the city of Uvira who are going through the hardships of life due to the war. It will also be good to be able to support them in the capacity of small businesses to strengthen the economy since the economy in the city of Uvira and elsewhere is very unstable.

We will doubt if our request is received and positive

Thank you for your kind attention

Yours
