I need assistance setting up GlobalGiving API. the How To Use is a bit confusing.

I should also add that generally speaking, the API is only used for companies and organizations that want to raise funds for the projects already on GlobalGiving. If you belong to a nonprofit that is not yet on GlobalGiving, then you are probably looking for this page instead: https://www.globalgiving.org/nonprofits/

 I am on GlobalGiving Sport Development Academy - GlobalGiving and have the key already but i can't understand this curl -H "Accept: application/xml" -H "Content-Type: application/xml" -X GET "https://api.globalgiving.org/api/public/projectservice/all/projects?api_key=YOUR_API_KEY&nextProjectId=354"  or How to use it with my website.

For your website, we recommend using one of the HTML snippets or JavaScript widgets: https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/sport-development-academy/share/

The API is meant for more advanced use cases where custom applications are being developed.

Hi Colin,

The HTML snippets on the share page for your project should work well on WordPress. 

https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/sport-development-academy/share/

For example:

<a href="https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/sport-development-academy/"><img src="https://www.globalgiving.org/img/buttons/donate_now.png" alt="Donate Now"/></a>

The Javascript widget will only work on WordPress if you edit the theme directly and add it there, or if you've modified your WordPress settings to allow Javascript to be injected into posts.

If none of the HTML snippets appear to be correct, can you describe a bit more about what you are hoping to achieve?
