Wow lots to report! First we have changed the IP number of the master
DNS from 69.247.44.202 to 68.47.155.148!
So ccNOS's and Tier3 Operators out there make sure your new recrursive
tree has
68.47.155.148 set as DNS Server 1 & 68.56.26.129 set as DNS Server 2
Also the India and Australia Tier 1 servers are being redefined as
Tier3 servers and are currently on Tier 2. While there operators
redefine them. I'd like to take this time to thank Catherine
Livingstone Ph.D. & Arunkumar Gandhi Ph.D. for quickly providing there
university servers and there tireless efforts during phase 1
testing.
I have decided to shut dowm the Technical forum and bring all
discussions back to this forum.
1.> Because you Geeks read the forums but always Opt to reply via
EMail to me anyway ;-)
2.> I don't want to begin creating a CLASS in GlobalDNA of Tech's or
Users GlobalDNA is here to support and listen to both equally as well
as unite both to form a better web.
So at latest count 213 ccNOS's are now testing the system, which will
explaine why Joe and I have been to busy to post on this forum.
I know there is much debate over the impact on internet citizens in
countries whos ccNOS's have a formal agreements with ICANN. While
Joe and I can't speak to the legal issues they now face, we are
beginning testing on software which will allow individuals and
companies with in those countries to directly access GlobalDNA.
While ccNOS domains
like .aw , .az , .bo , .cl , .cr , .cx , .cz , .eu ,
.fj , .gt , .hn , .ht , .kz , .mn , .mx , .nf , .ni , .nu , .pa , .pe , .pr , .py , .sd , .sv
may need to stay under the sole control of ICANN - GlobalDNA welcomes
communication
with any country or business who would care to sponsor an alternative
TLD to the ones listed for use by the people of those countries
contact me Bret...@Gmail.com
Also many thanks to Steve Gibson who has completed a DNS bench mark
tool I will upload it to this forum later today!
