Greetings All:
Two particular matters are of importance to some of us using this
project.
The first and most important to many is the ease and reliability of
the
GlobalDNA.org system. The other is the outcome of what's happening
to the existing global internet system of groups who have been running
it.
Alot of you who have either tested or are currently using
GlobalDNA.org
are aware of how well it works. I am not aware of what is going on
behind
closed doors with the other groups. However, I do realize someone or
some group is recommending that we keep doing what we are doing.
You may not know or be allowed to know what is going to happen by
the end of 2009 concerning the intenet and what or who will be still
in
charge. Obviously, no one in their right mind wants problems to arise
that will create disruptions. So I feel confident we will find a
workable
solution for the majority who can live with that.
Are you a watcher or a participant? Those who are using their
personal
time and resources to accomodate the world's internet traffic such as
myself, respect and honor those who with good of intentions, conceived
of and built the internet with private and governemental resources.
There are some technical issues still to be resolved with some
discussions
and effort that I'm confident will be reconciled very soon. If you
are eager
to see your desires for improvements become part of the reality, then
decide to contribute however possible and cease to be silent.
I realize some of you exist in situations where you just do your job
and
are satisfied with that as your outcome. Some are interested in
changes
they see as obvious and know what to do about it. And then some of
you know what's going on privately and are working behind the scenes
to make those changes in the internet. Whatever you do or believe,
very soon the internet terrain of policy and how it will operate in
the
future is going to change rapidly. So figure out where you are in
your
thoughts and if your happy with that. There is sitting there, in
plain
site, a group of technologies and people who are globally moving
to
improve the internet as soon as the dust settles this year. I don't
know where the money is going to come from, but I think it's sitting
off to the side in the hands of people who see the benefits of moving
rapidly to increase the efficiency and reduce the internet
operational costs. There are huge benefits and results to those that
get involved now and get included on using the new upgrades. If
you think you want to keep moving ahead, then perhaps you should
reflect on what your intentions are. To reconcile and benefit
personally,
think if you were in our shoes what you would expect from others and
find the time and resources to make it a reality.
